About Us
The mission of the Northern California Association of Health Care Recruiters(NCAHCR) is to promote and exchange sound professional principles of health care recruitment, which may be employed by its members for their mutual betterment and professional advancement. In order to achieve this, the Association seeks to provide education for health care recruiters, hospital administration, and the community regarding employment of health care personnel and retention issues. Further, it is the purpose of the Association to have The Northern California Association of Health Care Recruiters recognized as the vehicle for addressing health care recruitment and retention issues to the community.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. Elected officers serve for a two year term and can be re-elected to a second two-year term. Only dues paying members are eligible to vote. Elections are held in August during a closed business meeting. Locations for the meetings will be determined by the hospitals that request to host the meetings, with the intent of rotating meetings between the northern Bay Area, East Bay Area and South Bay.
